Salvation Army congregations across Canada engage in ministry to people in seniors residences and long-term care facilities through Community Care Ministries, formerly the Leage of Mercy. One of the most effective CCMs is at the Woodroffe Community Church in Ottawa, where the leader is Sharon Dean.
