Myanmar, aka Burma, is a pariah state to some, ruled by the military, where the popularly elected leader has been under house arrest for years. Surprisingly, The Salvation Army has an effective, if very small presence in the country. Brian Burditt, Director of World Missions, visited Myanmar earlier this year and reports on some impressive development work being done by the small Salvationist population there, with help from Canada.
