Here is a little more information about our special Tyler Hamilton who is singing for our upcoming musical September 24 @ 6PM.
The rich, powerful voice of Canadian Idol Top 10 Finalist Tyler Hamilton is unforgettable. Add to this his passion, professionalism, and a unique ability to connect with his audience, and you’ve got a great entertainer.
Tyler Hamilton is no stranger to audiences, having first performed in his hometown church at the age of five. Tyler later became a member of the Scola Cantorum Boys Choir and soon began performing at annual community events, fairs, talent festivals, schools, churches, and later in citywide musical/drama productions. Although Tyler’s roots are in country and gospel, his musical tastes run the gamut from Elton John to Elvis Presley to Garth Brooks. His versatility and love for all genres of music have opened many doors to him and he has been featured at Miss Canada/Universe Pageants, government functions, concerts and music fests, provincial and national sporting events, was the featured soloist backed by the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, opened for Randy Travis on his Sunshine Tour, and has performed in countless other venues. Tyler has also had extensive media exposure, appearing both on radio and television.
Tyler Hamilton landed the lead role of ‘Curly’ in the popular Rodgers & Hammerstein musical production, ‘Oklahoma’, performed in the renown Orillia
